Crafting

Choose the station problem first. Craft a Workbench, then follow the complete Wood Cutter blueprint-to-planks chain. At a selected Workbench project, the ingredient shortcut can save menu changes; nearby storage is a separate available-material check. Rope and ordinary Log have dedicated pages in Resources, while animal-earned recipe unlocks are in Animals.

Building

Open a structure: repair the Old Farm entrance before looking for its blueprint table. At camp, refuel an existing standing torch or use your placed tent's map marker to find your way back. Each route starts from the object it needs: the boarded farm door, a placed torch or a placed tent.

Controls

Inventory tasks come first: Pickup Filter changes automatic collection, while Empty Hands changes the held item. To preserve progress, use the pause-menu Save Game action and check its confirmation. For screen visibility, P hides or restores the HUD. Each page states its PC and patch scope.

Animals

Choose the next animal task. Prepare housing by crafting and placing the Chicken Coop after learning its blueprint. For a missing chicken pet prompt, check the current stage and close targeting; for deer, drinking comes before stew. Rabbit friendship unlocks the Iron Pan, while the new 0.6.25 gift-bag page covers an earned reward that cannot fit in inventory. Each guide labels its actual source version.

Resources

Match the missing material before gathering. Ordinary Log comes from the axe-and-dead-tree task; Rope is crafted from Fiber Plant in Inventory. Check the station recipe’s exact name and amount, then return to the Workbench or Wood Cutter chain. These pages cover the available early materials, not a complete resource map.

Farming

Start with the blocker: seeds cannot go into wild soil, so check the Farming Bed prerequisite first. If your supply is gone, the Old Farm page gives a confirmed player destination for replacement corn. If corn is already growing, use the watering-can E interaction and check its plaque. These are different tasks; no exact respawn or harvest timer is promised.

The short answer

During gameplay, press P to hide the whole HUD, including control hints and the version number. Press P again to bring it back.

Menus still remain visible when you open them. The shortcut is documented in the 0.6.24 update; no controller equivalent is established here.

Menus and held items are separate

An opened menu staying visible is expected behavior. P is a HUD toggle; the update does not say that it puts a held tool away.

Put a held item away with Empty Hands — Use the dedicated hotbar slot if you also want the held item out of your view.

If it does not work

A menu is still on screen.: That is expected: the update explicitly leaves menus visible when opened.
Control hints and the version number have vanished.: They are included in the HUD toggle. Press P again to restore them.
You need a controller shortcut.: This page establishes the documented PC keyboard P action only; it does not supply an unverified controller binding.
P does not produce the expected change.: Check that you are in gameplay and that the installed version includes the 0.6.24 keyboard shortcut. Opened menus remain visible by design; this page does not verify custom bindings or a controller equivalent.

How to know you are done

The HUD is hidden after the first press and returns after the next press of P.
