Craft Rope in Under Canopies
Open Inventory > Materials > Rope. The shown v0.6.24 recipe at x1 uses 2 Fiber Plant to produce 1 Rope. Select Craft.
At x2, the source shows 4 Fiber Plant required and 2 Rope as the output. The final hotbar stack of 8 Rope is an accumulated stack, not the yield of one x1 craft.

Before you start
- The Rope recipe is visible in Inventory > Materials.
- At least 2 Fiber Plant for one Rope; use the recipe card to check the cost of the selected quantity.
Read the batch quantity
Both rows are visible recipe states in the sampled sequence. If you want four Rope for the Workbench recipe, the two-per-Rope ratio gives eight Fiber Plant in total; that total is a calculation from the verified recipe.

Craft and check the stack
- Open Inventory and select Materials, then Rope.
- Choose the quantity you intend to craft with the quantity controls. For one Rope, use x1.
- Check the Fiber Plant requirement displayed for that quantity, then select Craft.
- Check that Rope has been added to your items and that the fiber cost has been consumed.
Use your Rope in a project
The Workbench recipe needs 4 Rope, so it is the next step if you are making your first station. The ingredient shortcut is for a Workbench you can already use; it keeps the selected project open while you make a supported basic ingredient.
- Craft the Workbench with four Rope — The verified Workbench recipe requires four Rope and eight Log.
- Make basic ingredients while using the Workbench — At the Workbench, the supported ingredient + shortcut keeps a project selected. It is separate from this recipe quantity selector.
If it does not work
- The card requires four Fiber Plant rather than two.
- Check the quantity selector. The verified x2 state uses four Fiber Plant to make two Rope.
- A guide or screenshot shows eight Rope.
- Read the recipe output and the item-stack count separately. This source shows one Rope per x1 recipe, not eight.
- Craft is unavailable.
- Compare the available Fiber Plant count with the displayed requirement for your current quantity.
- You are looking in Building.
- Rope is under Inventory > Materials in the shown v0.6.24 interface.
How to know you are done
- Your Rope count increases by the output of the chosen quantity. The observed sequence ends with 8 Rope in the hotbar after crafting, while the card is back at x1.
